 | If you received feedback from one of your patients through use of the DiagKNOWsis Doctor's Report card, then you should be pleased that your patient took the time to either thank you, or to help you improve your practice.
As you are well aware, patients are becoming more involved in the choices made about their medical care. Since you are on their front line of care, you are the person who gets the credit and appreciation for good care, or the blame when it is substandard.
Hopefully your patient identified him/herself which will allow you to contact the patient to follow up. Consider discussing any negative feedback with your patient the next time s/he comes in, or even by calling on the phone. Sometimes a patient's perception is not what you intended to convey. Keeping the lines of communication open is beneficial to you both.
If your patient did not identify him or herself, please know that we have no way of knowing who your patient is; no information collected by DiagKNOWsis would make that connection possible.
Thank you for visiting this website. And thank you for providing good care to your patients. |
